General Questions about enrolling, registering, visiting the college, scheduling a tour, adding and
dropping a class.
Degree or certificate application is available online for students who have completed or will be completing all required course work by the end of the current semester and have taken all necessary courses at SBCC only. If you have transcripts from colleges or universities, the online application may not be used. You must file for your degree or certificate with an academic counselor in person, or by calling (805) 730-4085.

Contact the Academic Counseling Center for questions related to receiving credit from other colleges; academic planning; institutional and transfer requirements; academic problems; probation and disqualification; degree eligibility; college procedures and policies; student success resources.
Health Technology Questions: Nursing, HIT-Health Information Technology, (including Medical Coding and Reimbursement), Radiography, CIM-Cancer Information Management, EMT-Emergency Medical Technician, and DMS-Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Library Questions related to library services, including reference, class research, book check-out and interlibrary loan.
College Forms for SBCC Students: Some PDF and some on-line forms.
Financial Aid Questions: Online form for questions regarding the SBCC Financial Aid Program.
Transcript Requests: Instructions for requesting transcripts online, by mail or in person.
Extended Absence: Medical and/or Family Emergency requiring an absence from classes of more than than one week or for shorter time periods where emergency hospitalization is involved.
