Association of Confidential Employees
Welcome to the Association of Confidential Employees (ACE).
Confidential employees are those employees tasked with developing and/or representing managment positions with respect to employer-employee relations, and/or whose duties normally require access to confidential information that is used to contribute significantly to the development of management positions related to negotiations.
As of 2023, the ACE team includes nine employees in designated confidential positions across several departments including Human Resources, the Office of the Superintendent/President and Board of Trustees, and the Offices of the Assistant Superintendent/Vice Presidents.
ACE selects a Chair to serve as their lead representative within the college community. The Chair generally serves for one (1) year, or as otherwise determined by ACE.
As Confidential employees, ACE meets and confers with the Superintendent/President or designee to discuss ACE related issues and terms of agreement.
